Our upcoming Filtration Hour will take place online on June 9, 2023, from 10 to 11 A.M. EDT, free of charge, featuring a live Q&A with a distinguished panel of industry experts. The theme is "Sustainability Perspectives on Air Filtration For Smart Cities." Our esteemed panelists are:

Today’s Course: Liquid Filter Testing and Evaluation


We were delighted to host a highly informative course on Liquid Filter Testing and Evaluation today, June 6, 2023, from 8 to 11 A.M. EDT. Dr. Swarna Agarwal, Senior Material Scientist at PTI Technologies, USA, provided an expert-led exploration into filter test techniques and standards for water, fuel, lube oil, hydraulic fluids, etc.


Building on the momentum of last week's session, the course delved further into the nuances of liquid filtration applications and product evaluation. Dr. Agarwal captivated attendees with her extensive knowledge, providing valuable insights into the fundamentals and recent updates in liquid filter testing techniques.


We also want to thank our distinguished panelists Dr.-Ing. Thomas Peters (Germany), Mr. Al Vatine (USA), Dr. Miao Li (USA), Dr. Vincent Hu (Taiwan), and Dr.-Ing Nicolas Petillon (France) for sharing their visions on the challenges, new developments, and opportunities during the panel discussion. Taught by Mr. Scott Yaeger, President of FAST Internationsl, Inc., this course is set to give you a comprehensive understanding of this rapidly evolving sector. From seawater desalination to biopharmaceuticals, membranes play an integral role in various critical applications. We’ll explore membrane technology, performance characteristics, and manufacturing processes and have a panel discussion on new developments, opportunities, and trends of the membrane filtration market.
