Purpose: The WFI Product of the Year Award is dedicated to celebrating and promoting new developments and innovations that are shaping the future of the global filtration and separation industry. This prestigious recognition honors products that contribute to building a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable world.

Award Ceremony: The award will be announced at the WFI 2026 Virtual Annual Conference on December 8–9, 2026.

Eligibility: Open to all members of the global filtration industry. Companies and organizations are welcome to nominate their own products. Free of charge!

Nomination Criteria: Products must be launched within the past two years to qualify.

​Deadline for Submission: Nov 1, 2026

Categories and Criteria

We will continue to honor excellence with our traditional Product of the Year Awards in the categories of Filter Devices, Filter Element, and Filter Media. We also welcome nominations for new, non-commercial products and particularly innovative entries. 

 

Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts based on the following criteria:

• Innovation: Does the product introduce novel ideas or solutions?

• Performance: How well does the product meet its intended function?

• Economy: Is the product cost-effective and viable?

• Sustainability: How does the product contribute to environmental and health sustainability?

• Technology Readiness Level: Is the product ready for real-world application?
