On behalf of the Waterloo Filtration Institute team and the WFI Advisory Board, we would like to extend our warmest welcome to Dr. Muthukumar Ramaswamy as a new member of our advisory board.
Dr. Ramaswamy got over 39 years of combined extensive experience in various IAQ and filtration-related areas of Engineering in India and Oman. He received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, in Mechanical Engineering, currently working as the technical director of Level Engineering LLC, an MEP consultancy and skill development training organization based in Oman.
Dr. Ramaswamy has published over 100 research papers in international journals and conferences and authored six engineering-related books. He has designed a few of the largest utility plants in South East Asia. Dr. Ramaswamy is on the visiting faculty and the Technical advisory board of various technical universities in India and Oman, where he has guided many Ph.D. students. He is a member of multiple international professional organizations holding charter engineer status from U. K. and India. Dr. Ramaswamy is the reviewer and editorial board member of many international technical journals, such as STEM SAGE Publications Ltd, U.K. He has delivered over 100 keynote lectures at various international conferences and meetings. Dr. Ramaswamy's name is listed in the WHOSWHO directory of Renewables from the MENAT region and in the Montreal Protocol WHOSWHO site as an appreciation of his work on ODS. He is active in many regional and global communities to help them embrace sustainable and healthy living.
At WFI, our mission is to support the growth of the global filtration industry and advance the sciences and technologies of filtration and separation processes for a clean, healthy, and sustainable world. We are excited and honored to have Dr. Ramaswamy join the WFI Advisory Board. He will be an invaluable asset and ambassador as we continue to work together to promote a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable world.
