Welcome Dr. Jatin Khanpara to WFI Advisory Board

Clarksville, TN, USA (August 13, 2025) –The World Filtration Institute (WFI) is pleased to welcome Dr. Jatin Khanpara to the WFI Advisory Board. A seasoned board-level advisor and C-suite executive, Dr. Khanpara brings over three decades of experience driving growth, innovation, and transformation across Fortune 500 and global product companies, including Whirlpool, Carrier, Fiskars, and Research Products (AprilAire).


With expertise in multi-billion-dollar P&L leadership, product lifecycle innovation, IoT/cloud platform deployment, M&A integration, and organizational change, Dr. Khanpara has led transformative initiatives across multiple industries. As Senior Vice President and currently Chief Technology Advisor at AprilAire and Research Products, he spearheaded a multi-year digital transformation—launching a next-generation AWS-based IoT platform, embedding AI into product lines, and creating new residential and commercial indoor air quality platforms. He also advanced sustainability strategies and regulatory advocacy in collaboration with the DOE, EPA, and AHR.


At Fiskars, Dr. Khanpara revitalized legacy product categories, delivering significant revenue and EBIT growth, and launched two new business lines. His earlier leadership at Carrier and Whirlpool produced award-winning innovations, global technology strategies, and business turnarounds. A recognized innovation leader, he holds seven patents, has published multiple research papers, and earned honors including Red Dot, Good Design, and Popular Science awards. Dr. Khanpara holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, an M.S. from Bradley University, and executive credentials from Kellogg and Chicago Booth.
