EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The week of July 5–12, 2026, highlighted strong momentum across industry consolidation, PFAS treatment, water technology, and air filtration. Parker Hannifin received European Commission clearance for its $9.25 billion acquisition of Filtration Group, marking a major milestone in one of the industry's largest transactions. Meanwhile, DuPont expanded its WAVE PRO water treatment platform, De Nora secured a major PFAS treatment project in Virginia, and NX Filtration advanced beverage processing applications in Asia. In air filtration, Zentek received its first U.S. commercial order for ZenGUARD™ media as wildfire smoke drove record air quality alerts and increased demand for MERV-13 filtration. Additional developments included EPA's proposed PFAS drinking water rule changes, new investment in chlorine-stable membrane technology, and continued activity across water quality and industrial filtration markets. Together, these developments reinforce filtration's growing importance in public health, environmental compliance, and critical infrastructure.
