Dr. Cédric Vallet serves as the Head of Product Management & Business Development for the Filtration Division at Ahlstrom. With an engineering degree in chemistry and a PhD from the University of Rennes in France, he started his distinguished career at Ahlstrom, taking on various roles across R&D, Sales, and Marketing in the filtration sector. Over the past 15 years, he has developed profound expertise in filtration media manufacturing, focusing particularly on air and liquid filtration applications within the transportation sector. In his current position, Dr. Vallet leads global initiatives such as Ahlstrom FiltEV®, an innovative platform providing high-performance filtration materials for Battery and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles. He has also played a pivotal role in the launch of Ahlstrom ECOTM, a new generation of lignin-containing materials, advancing eco-conscious technologies and supporting the growing sustainability demands in the global automotive market. Moreover, Dr. Vallet is a dedicated supporter of the WFI education program, contributing significantly to the global filtration industry. His efforts to enhance filtration knowledge and technology demonstrate a deep commitment to the field, benefiting the broader community through improved understanding and innovations.
