Jowat is a family-owned enterprise and one of the world’s leading suppliers of industrial adhesives. Founded in 1919 as a wholesaler of glue and supplies for carpenters, we have grown into a global company with more than 1,400 employees and manufacturing sites in Germany, Switzerland, Malaysia, China and the USA. Over more than a century, we have built extensive expertise in the most diverse fields of applications and industries.

With the opening of our facility in High Point, North Carolina, in 1979, we laid the foundation for a successful entry into the U.S. market. Today, Jowat Corporation is our largest subsidiary worldwide and serves as the headquarters for all operations across North and South America. More than 225 employees at six locations ensure close proximity to our customers throughout the Americas.
