Dr. Cédric Vallet is the Head of Product Management & Business Development for the Filtration Division at Ahlstrom. With an engineering degree in chemistry and a PhD from the University of Rennes in France, Dr. Vallet began his career at Ahlstrom, where he has taken on diverse roles across R&D, Sales, and Marketing, all within the filtration domain. Over the last 15 years, he has developed extensive expertise in filtration media manufacturing, focusing on a wide range of air and liquid filtration applications, particularly in transportation.
Currently, Dr. Vallet leads global initiatives like Ahlstrom FiltEV®, an innovative platform that provides high-performance filtration materials for Battery and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles. He has also played a pivotal role in the introduction of Ahlstrom ECOTM, marking a significant advancement in eco-conscious filtration technology. This new generation of lignin-containing materials caters to the growing sustainability demands within the global automotive market.
Furthermore, Dr. Vallet has been a stalwart supporter of the WFI education program, making significant contributions that bolster the global filtration industry. His dedication to advancing filtration knowledge and technology not only underscores his commitment to the field but also enriches the community's collective understanding and capabilities.
